I cannot recommend Skin Surgery Center of Richmond. Never even got to see Dr. Rausch. Staff made you think that you were working for them rather than vice versa. Previous doctor at another practice was able to take care of me right then and there if I brought up something that was not address in the first meeting without having to make another appointment (+ copay of course).
Drs. Rausch and Stall are the best. The entire staff does everything possible to make what isn't a fun day, into a very decent one. Everyone in their practice is highly skilled, caring and genuine. Dr. Rausch, Dr. Stall and all the nurses and personnel treat you with exceptional respect and support. I have had two Moh's surgery here, and highly recommend it to anyone. It is the only practice I could consider.
I had an ugly little devil pop up on my ankle. I was referred to Dr. Rausch by my derma doc because pathology came back as basal cell carcinoma. I was referred for Moh's Surgery. Fortunately it took one pass and I was clean. My experience with Dr. Rausch, and her team of nurses, and the plastic surgeon Dr. Stahl, absolutely could not have been better. They were kind, professional and they told me what to expect. I would recommend her practice to anyone.
One of the best experiences I've ever had with a doctor, the nursing staff, the schedulers, and everyone in the office. They really care. I am very pleased with Dr. Rauch's work.
Absolutely horrible experience.
I would not recommend Dr. Rausch because in the end, healing was not complete and I was dismissed from follow up; because things looked fine. Procedures and optional wound healing interventions were considered experimental and therefore were not covered by insurance. No good response from office as to why they did not know this about a major insurance carrier that they participate with and then abruptly billed me at the same time they had a collection agency billing me.

I highly recommend Dr. Rausch! She was incredibly kind as well as truly competent from consultation to leaving after the skin surgery was completed. She and her staff were outstanding and made a not so fun experience... Worth It!!!
Dr. Rausch removed a basal cell carcinoma from my nose about 8weeks ago. Procedure was pain free, minimal discomfort post surgery, and amazing cosmetic result. Thank you Dr Rausch!
