Dr. Cernik caught my melanoma at a very early stage several years ago and I am forever grateful. She later found basal cell and squamous cell and removed them as well. She has always been personable and professional and takes the time to answer questions.
After receiving a skin exam, don't dare ask questions. My mother in law informed me that the doctor said verbatim 'I can't just tack this onto your appointment. These are already my longest appointments. You're going to have to make another one.'This is extremely inappropriate to say to a patient. The phrasing was awful, and exams being your longest appointments are NOT her fault.How dare you. Why practice if you're not willing to be helpful or at least courteous. I hope no one sees this doctor.
She was so kind. Had full body check. She was thorough. The nurse that was a scribe and took my history was equally kind. This practice was recommended to me. My previous dermatologist office had me waiting 9 months as an established patient for a full body check. Not acceptable and they are accepting new patients— really?
Dr. Christina Cernik is excellent in every way. I just love her. Friendly, caring, capable and thorough with checking my several suspect moles that continually appear, performing multiple biopsies the same visit, and treating the cancerous and precancerous ones. I'm a state Medicaid aka welfare recipient, and she and her staff always treat me like royalty.
This is a judgmental doctor who determines patient's diagnosis/care before she ever meets them based on who she thinks they are, does not do proper evaluations on those she sees to be unworthy, clearly has issues with the healthcare system, hinders patient's care, makes inaccurate assessments without doing any tests and includes false derogative statements in patient's records.
I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the office staff, as well as the little amount of time I spent waiting on Dr. Cernik. As soon as I met her, I felt really comfortable, she answered all of my questions and even removed some questionable moles all in the same office visit. To makes matters better, I am terrified of needles and she made it as painless as it could have been. Highly recommended physician.
