Metropolis coffee in Palatine?? YES PLEASE! If you all are not here , you're all missing out! My family and I visited Christie's for the first time last night and not only were we blown away by the friendliest employees, but my Vanilla Cappuccino was to die for. Sounds dramatic you say? Not at all, I would consider myself a "coffee snob" so be it, and Metropolis is one of my favorites. The Barista knew her stuff and made me the best I've had in the states. Love this place! We had my daughter's 12th birthday here, complete with karaoke. Couldn't get the tween girls off the stage. Wonderful ice cream and wonderful environment.
My family and I had the best time at Christie's Dairy Delights. From the moment we walked in we were greeted. The staff, and owner gave us some of the best customer service we have ever received. We were able to sample the ice cream flavors which were some of the best we have ever had-- the kids loved the "kids corner". Wonderful choices for flavors, great variety of toppings and inventive/fun specials like the donut ice cream sandwich. 3 flavors were my favorite and how lucky was I that you have a 3 mini scoop sampler as an item on your board?! The place was clean and well stocked. The chalkboard wall was a favorite of my girls. I am pre-diabetic, so I am very picky about what I use my "cheating" days for. This will be one of those "worthy" places to go and cheat. EXCELLENT JOB TURNING THIS LOCATION AROUND AND MAKING IT YOUR OWN!
It was delicious n friendly! Went here for first time today with kids and bf and we had Turtle, s'mores,mint and cookie n Creme sundaes and they were so good
