Burger joints in Houston are serious business. With sharp competition like Christian's Tailgate, a proper Heights (gastro) Icehouse, other burger-makers in town better up their game. Their White Oak location was perfectly adapted to its surroundings, with its Austin-like semi-open-air structure, which is different from their proper sports bar facility in Midtown. While I love the burgers here, I'm ALWAYS disappointed in game day services. It's not rocket science, it's also not the first year you've been open. Get your s@&@t together. Staff correctly and serve the customers. I literally gave a waitress a note pad to take our order because she didn't have one on her...get it together...I may love your burgers, but it isn't the only one in town!!!'
Are you thinking of enjoying a party with your friends here? Forget about it. There is a manager named "big Mike", pure liar. Incompetent staff led by one named Shane. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance and none of the managers upheld their promises. When we arrived an hour before ,our tables were given away, none were prepared, and we, a party of 12, were given a table that seats a family of 4. If you like having fraudulent charges on your credit card its a great spot. Both times I've been a group of us have split bill paying cash and a card, not only was the card charged for the entire bill it had been added to. Will never go back
