I usually not give negative reviews but sometimes may work for others I think the staff here needs some attention from the higher authorities of ChristianaCare admitted my patients very serious issues related to heart the staff here should see other states hospitals facilities what I noticed in few visits here I mean nurses and administrators must be very humble and patient imagine waiting for a wheelchair request by nurse after 40 minutes wait still no response walked the patient most likely majority staff here just waiting... read more

If I could give 0 stars I would ⭐ 1 Star My 79-year-old grandmother was sent to Christiana Hospital's Emergency Room directly from her doctor's appointment because she was experiencing chest pain, nausea, low oxygen levels, and heavy breathing. Given her age and symptoms, we expected her condition to be treated with some level of urgency. Upon arrival, staff took her vitals, put her on oxygen, performed an EKG, chest X-ray, and blood work, then placed her back in the waiting room in an uncomfortable wheelchair. I know theirs like no 5 star reviews which is a shame but I wanted to say thanks to the team in the emergency room that treated my sister and helped her through the mental health crisis she was having back in October of 2024. What u did means a lot for our family and I really appreciate what everyone who works at this hospital does. Arrived at CHS ER on crutches around 6pm. Didn’t get my CT scan and X-ray until 11:30pm, and no one read the results until after 1am. The staff admitted having my results but just didn’t read them smh. The waiting room wasn’t packed at all; the hallways were quiet, and it was not a wild night, yet it still took 8 hours to tell me to rest. Those people played in my face real bad. Negative 5 stars.

I was here since 1:30 am and it’s now 8 am. I never got seen by a doctor and the nurses didn’t check on me so I literally had to walk out and seek help elsewhere.
