I brought my wife to the emergency because of pain and she was seen after 4hours and all who first attended to her were those coming to ask for insurance and demographics. Why is that place called an emergency room? People should be taken care of first beause processing their insurance later on. All they want is money! The doctor too was so rude and unprofessional. Came by ambulance due to back pain so bad I couldn't even walk. I was there for over 10 hrs for them to do basically nothing. Was ignored for most of the time after i was admitted and on a hallway bed the whole time. My mother in law had to ask several times for them to bring me meds they had told me that they where going to give me. When I was finally seen I asked for an MRI and they would only do a regular xray. Since the issue was muscle related of course nothing showed up on the xray. UPDATE: ChristianaCare responded to this review asking me to contact Patient Relations at 302-733-1340. I have since called the number provided multiple times and no one answers. I was absolutely willing to discuss my concerns privately as requested, but I cannot do that when the department I am being directed to is unreachable. If ChristianaCare genuinely wants the opportunity to address this experience, I would appreciate an actual way to speak with someone. Worst place all the nurse should have been fired with the attitude the carry on their face during their shift. My mom had open cut open enough where you can see her bone inside. She arrived to hospital in ambulance but all they did was put bandages around it and gave her pain killer and told her to wait outside in lobby till they get a room for her. ITS BEEN SIX HOURS she is still waiting for room with open wound and I asked 6-7 different nurse and all they are saying is “sorry we can’t do anything we are waiting on room” We... read more
