DO NOT USE THIS GUY, Robert!!! He stole nearly $2,000 from my family!!!! Reported him to the police. Hope he gets what he deserves. He said he would order us a new oven and install it. Never returned calls after not showing up when he said he would with the new oven. We used his services for years and trusted him. Do not trust this man.
I don't usually write reviews but when I was looking for an appliance repair shop I noticed that Chris and Sons was listed. I was quite shocked because several years ago they came to my home to repair my washing machine. They could not fix it on site so took it in. I don't remember how much time passed, but I did not hear from them, nor was I able to contact them. I finally contacted them and they said that they were still waiting for a part. Freezer died, said it was the compressor, gave him the money and he came out on my wife's birthday 11/21/17, they repaired is but I showed him the copper tubing was bend very badly for the water to the freezer. He said it was OK, we went to dinner, came home at 9:00 PM and water was all over floors and the wood is warped, great job for $800.00 and he WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS, this is San Pedro, we do not do that in San Pedro. Well...fridge stopped working (no cold)... Roberts came out opened up fridge and said, yup' its broken... it will be $40 for coming out and telling me what i already knew...or $180 deposit, ill order the parts, and repair it in a couple of days. So, i gave him the 180. After a few no shows (3 weeks later) he tried a few things and it still didnt work. He said it may be 1 more thing that he will order the part and come back the following day.
