A long time ago, when she was young and less concerned about the almighty dollar, she was ok. Now she is just rude, insensitive and uncaring. If you complain about the littlest thing she will treat you with disrespect. In reviewing my records it was clear she had rewritten them after my complaint to her. If you care about yourself as a person, do not bother to see this 'Dr'. I know Veterinarians that are better than her that I would go be treated by if I could

Wowww, I was just going to leave a review about the worst experience I've ever had with any doctor..... but I just read her other reviews and everyone else already said everything for me. How on earth do they allow Dr. Chowdhurry to keep practicing? It's a crime and really sad to treat people sooo badly when they are already going through such sensitive issues concerning their health and their life. The staff leave a lot to be desired as well. Long wait, short visit, she apologized saying her surgical schedule had been moved around all morning at the hospital. Later checked with the Hospital chief surgery scheduling nurse who stated DR. Chowdhury had NO surgeries that day!!?? So, I will never 'see' Dr. Chowdhury again!

I have been a patient of Dr Chowdhury for many years. I had a Visit with her in late March and the staff was laughing and smiling and I thought to myself wow they are all happy for a Monday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised today when I came again i was greeted by a young lady outside and the three ladies at the desk all with smiling and very welcoming. She is intelligent and better at diagnosing than a couple of the other doctors in her group who I am familiar with. However, she is the most rushed doctor I have ever seen, with the least number of words or suggestions. She seems to be constantly overbooked and I feel like I have less than 10 seconds to state my problem, to be followed by the quickest suggestion possible. Yet she is better than a lot of gastro doctors in town, from what I have heard from other people.

I had a previous colonoscopy with another doctor,that gave me a fear of having this needed procedure done! As it landed myself in a hospital with911 being called.! My primary doctor's assistant recommended Dr.Chowdhury to me.Im very happy she did,as Dr Chowdhury explains everything and reassure you,youll be fine,after following her instructions! She's a very qualified excellent doctor! I would highly recommend her to everyone,that wants the best treatment from a doctor! You'll be Pleased!

Dr. Chowdhury is a very kind and compassionate person and I believe her to be a skilled gastroenterologist. She always listens intently to every concern I have and then gives me feedback that is helpful to continue with my home care regarding my GURD and stomach problems. When I call her to get my RXs refilled, they are called into the pharmacy prompty. When I need a colonoscopy or an endoscopy, I feel like she is careful and considerate when listening to and performing procedures.

No compassion or patience with people that are hard of hearing. She has no time to explain a patients pros and cons of my situation. Rude and above all has no time. My experience with her is only as a doctor in the San Joaquin hospital.
