We enjoyed our experience here so much I look for Chop restaurants in other cities. Despite not having a reservation on a busy evening, and with utterly unnecessary apologies, we were seating in less than 10 minutes. The service was excellent, and the food was superb both in flavour and presentation. If I’m back to Edmonton, this is where I’ll be headed for dinner.

The hostess came across as unprofessional. We were left waiting at the front for about 12 minutes before she personally went to check for a table, even though there were many unoccupied ones in the dining area. It didn’t seem like she checked the system right away. When seated, the appetizer was delivered by someone other than our server, extremely hot, and served without any warning—resulting in us burning our mouths.
