We live in Tallahassee and have eaten a Chop house several times. The atmosphere is awesome and the service is impeccable with very knowledgeable servers. The owner has come over to our table several times to chat and make sure we were satisfied. It is so worth the trip, which is not that much of a trip, 25 minutes from our house.
Good ok. Blonde manager(?) Kimberly the rudest person I've encountered in a long time. She is I. The restaurant biz?? Oh my. This restaurant has potential but not with her up front!!!
An absolute shame. A rather pleasant looking restaurant ruined entirely by rude, disregarding customer service and terrible mismanagement. The owner herself mainly perpetrates the rudeness toward customers, with her very own waitstaff constantly apologizing for her attitude. Earlier today, our party of three made a reservation at Chop House on the Bricks for their earliest available seating, at 5pm. The food--out of this world!! If you've never had Matt's cooking you gotta try it. My friends and I have had about eight different entrees and each one has been delicious! My favorite is his creme brule! Staff are very friendly and efficient. Both owners are in house all the time and enjoy visiting with patrons. we have been here about five times and every time was wonderful!
Really rude staff. Three of us went on a Tuesday night around 7:30 pm. With over half the restaurant empty, we were told our wait would be 40 minutes- after talking with two staff members. Then the server asked could she give us a card! Was she kidding? I won't ever go back there again.
