I think this program started with the best intentions but along the way lost the plot!! This place is just a legal form of drug dealing!! The fact that they give addicts a month of take homes is a joke, if we had any control we would not be up there. I have been going to the clinic for 2 years. Everyone really cares about us here, and they treat me with respect. My councilor is Cameron and he has been the voice of reason in serious situations that have came up over the last 6 months. He is super supportive, and always gives me insight that helps me navigate these serious issues I’m dealing with. He always has boundaries, and ethics and is a safe person for me to confide in. My counselor Cameron at the Alexandria site has been amazing since becoming my counselor! He has shown interest in my short term and longterm goals and is always checking in with me on the progress of achieving those goals! I've liked every counselor I have had since being a patient here, but Cameron is the only one who has shown interest in my progress!
