Just stopped in to have some coffee after driving a client here who is one of the decorators for their chocolate and fruit, the amazingly talented, Tracy. I ended up getting a carrot cake to go along with my coffee, I know surrounded by chocolate and I got carrot cake. I'd been here once before with my wife and had sampled the chocolate as well which was just as divine as the carrot cake. They also have wine and jazz nights Wed-Sat I believe. Went there for a cup of cocoa. It was my first time going there and first time going out for a cup of hot chocolate. I am normally a Swiss Miss drinker. I think I got the toffee hot chocolate...I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it ☺️☕️
Really, really disappointed to find that the quality and service has gone down so much since our prior experiences here. Chocolates were not fresh. Maybe it was just an off-time, but the manager got snappy and irritated and accused us of "attitude" and just "trying to get out of paying a bill", and something about "wanting to go to Kate Weiser Chocolate, instead." In addition to a spoiled anniversary treat, it was a really crappy way to treat an unhappy customer.
Great Chocolate, I love their products. Absolutely fantastic!
