Took 4 year old for a fever. Was seen quickly by triage and taken back to the exam room without much wait. His nurse was great and set him at ease, and Dr Norris was wonderful with him. I've never seen him more comfortable at an exam before. Will go back if need be.
We took my niece here for her Citizenship blood exam, and the phlebotomist was sooo quick, nice and it was so easy. She is amazing. I saw more kids there and it all seemed to work quick.
registration took 2 hrs; and total wait time was 5 hrs; overcrowded waiting room; feared my kid would catch new virus instead. CHKD needs to do much better. If the wait time is 5 hrs, either registration should be online and the waiting room should be bigger. Waiting 5 hrs with sick kid at waiting room is not a small deal- that is common sense. Please work on it; I have had great experiences with CHKD so far, except my visit to urgent care which was unbelievably disheartening.
We have been here a few times and they always so wonderful!!! My daughter loves Dr Bob!!! Everyone from the receptions to pt access to triage nurses to doctors are just amazing. My daughter is always nervous about dr, urgent care and er but they make her feel so comfortable!
We had to take my 5 year old daughter in for a blood draw Saturday morning. My daughter was expectedly anxious. The phlebotomist was very patient and tried to gain cooperation before we ended up having to get another nurse to help assist. It went as expected for my daughter, fighting, tears but the staff was kind and efficient about getting it done.
