I went to see Dr Chitkara for my daughter to have a physical. The only medication my daughter needed was for asthma... I had to ask a nurse to please send the doctor back in (after he had completed the very quick, impersonal exam and said goodbye) because he didn't listen to her breathing.. I was rather shocked that he agreed to prescribe asthma medication without listening for symptoms of asthma. My visit with Dr. Chitkara was a long one, but unfortunately didn't include him throughout most of it. I showed up for my son's appointment for his 2 year check up about 10 minutes early. I didn't even see Dr. Chitkara until almost noon. I was very close to walking out when he finally came through the door. Once he was in the office, he informed me that he doesn't do vaccinations on patients that are on medicaid or any form of medicaid.
