Our truck started having engine problems on our way down to Pigeon Forge from Indiana (great start to our vacation, huh). Well, after looking up reviews of repair shops near the area, we decide to give Chips a call. Well, not only did he get our truck in that very same day, he also had it back to us in no time and the cost of repairs was incredibly reasonable (turns out it was a bad injector). If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I'm an automotive technician that was on vacation from about 7 hours away towing a 10000lb camper. I started having problems with my 6.7 powerstroke that autozone could not pull the code on with their scanner. Being several hundred miles away from my scanners and tools I called around and chips was the only place that would pull the code for me without wanting to fully diagnose the problem, I needed to know if I had to fix it before I left or if I could wait until I got home. Chip's Diesel is better than Excellent. From customer service, to technical knowledge, to timeliness of getting work completed and also to prices. Chip's has expert knowledge in Cummins, Power stroke and Duramax diesel engines. Their prices are to say the least very reasonable compared to anyone else out there. If you have an issue, I recommend getting the vehicle to Chip's no matter what you have to do. These gentlemen are just awesome diesel experts and people. Thank you Chip's for all you did.
