My brother, who was a patient of this doctor, was in the hospital and in mental crisis. It was very difficult to get Dr. Chinnaswammy to return phone calls (in fact, I had to threaten the use of a lawyer before she finally returned my call) or to set up an appointment. When she did agree to see him, he was with her only a few minutes and she told him that they would continue to talk about his issues at his next scheduled appointment. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. I couldn't believe how great their office looked. I couldn't believe how little I ended up having to pay for my appointment. They have very affordable prices. Their entire office was immaculate. It was obvious that they took very good care of it. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. The waiting area here is extremely spacious.
