hands down th best chili in LA – I have been to Chili My Souls dozens of times, every time it gets better. Try the Garlic Roasted Chicken.
Obviously, you've never had these – For years and years now DAGLAS Burgers on VanOwen St. in the heart of the San Fernando Valley has been the capital of the French Fry World. Their own (slight) seasoning and their way of deep frying makes every mouthful the taste treat for the quintessential fry eater. Add to this the size of each order and the cost and you've got a meal fit for any potato gormet. DON'T MISS THIS FANTASTIC TASTE TREAT!!!!!

and they love my dog too! – If you never took chili seriously, here's a good place to break that habit. They have a chili for everyone- and toppings which include capers and chocolate. This combined with an enthusiastic staff, indoor and outdoor seating make it worth the trip over the hill and down into the valley. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CHILI FRIES
Not the best and soggy – I have eaten there many times and the Chili is great but the fries are average and when smothered with Chili it's hard to tell they are fries and are really toooooooo small to qualify as french fries....nothing beats the fries in Holland, Belgium and France !
NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THE CHILI – NOT VERY FRIENDLY. THEY THINK THAT ARE THE BEST IN TOWN--NOT. PUT RESTRICTIONS ON THE COUPON AFTER IT WAS PRINTED. NOT GOOD PARKING.
This ain't your momma's chili! – We stumbled upon Chili My Soul over a year ago and have made our way back at least twice a month since. I am now marking off my own menu to make sure I try every flavor. I may even brave out the DEMON!!!! The food kicks butt, the service is friendly and helpful, and it doesn't break the bank! Sure the cantina could use some decorating help, but who cares! And to whoever was complaining about parking--are you blind? There is a HUGE, FREE parking lot here!
I love chili – If you love chili and the infinite varieties it comes in then Chili My Soul is a must. Healthful dining to boot! Of course you can get it with fries, but there are many ways to have it without breaking your cholesterol budget!
chili in my bowl – Chili might not sound like much, but that is probably because you are used to that stuff out of a can, or even worse, that stuff from the cafeteria. Chili My Soul takes chili seriously. If the name doesn't prove it, try their 30+ different blends, dozen toppings, and various other creative menu items.
