I would not waste your time making an appointment at Children’s (Lowder Sports Medicine Clinic). After waiting over a month for an appointment, they will cancel it. Dr. Spellmon apparently has very frequent personal emergencies and rescheduled us 3 times. On top of that, the last time they didn’t even have the courtesy to call and discuss the reschedule as the first I heard of it was via text message. Well our visit to Children's of Alabama to the Sports Medicine Clinic was an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! I scheduled his appointment for 1pm however the texts they sent said 2 so whatever we will go at 2.. Get there at a little after 2 because road work downtown plus finding parking.. Sat in the waiting room for 15mins than a nurse called Marcus and she directed us where to go and did not speak to us any further other than to say the Dr would be in shortly. We were visiting the doctor William Price Garth,and his behavior was bad. When I asked him, he said, “Didn’t you hear what I said a little while ago?” and he was saying inconsistent things. I don’t know if he was a racist because I was a Muslim, or if his problem was with me.
