While I understand this is a busy season I don’t see the point in offering appointment times if we will still be waiting 1.5 hours past it and being told there are still 7 kids ahead of you. Either appointments shouldn’t be offered or there needs to be a better system managing walk ins accepted around appointments. Also it would have been nice to see something to wipe down the chairs with all of the coughing and flu going around.
Told us it will be 30 minutes it has been 3 hours and we are still not in but other WITHOUT appointments are getting in we will never come he again and staff was very nice but it does not make up for the rest
Why bother signing up for an appointment and filing out paperwork at home the NIGHT BEFORE for 11:32am when I’m going to have to wait for 45 minutes and do three pages of paperwork anyways?
Went in with my son to get checked out for the flu (which he had) so they ran a flu panel test and gave him a Xofluza pill to help shorten symptoms. In and out in probably 30 minutes, which was great. A little bit later we received a bill in the mail for over $1300 (after insurance adjusted it down from $2700). That single Xofluza pill was billed at $965 from Children's Mercy although you can find it from pharmacies or online services for anywhere from $50 to $200.
