My uncle had to be taken up to tampa gen for a heart condition. Yes they may have access to better doctors but the bedside manner was horrible... after procedure and he woke up he was feeling hot and clostrophobic(how ever u spell it) and started to pull at his gown. The nurse walked in cussed him out and he asked to have the gown off and his shorts back they had taken off of him.. that bitch took his gown off and left him naked and exposed to passerbys for over an hour. I love this place and its employees they are very caring. And show so much patients I know first hand my mom is well taken care of when she is there. I am truly grateful for Tampa general Hospital.
I think the overall experience was awesome. I would highly recommend for anyone to come to this hospital and we would like to give a huge shout out to one of our nurses in post Pardam colleen in particular she was by our side every second of the way while she was working and has an outstanding bedside manner thank all of you guys for giving us an amazing experience with our first baby �� From Theresa and John
Very upset I layed in the hallway for 7 1/2 hours and only one time was I checked on in till I started yelling about it. I waited for 5 hrs for MRI only to be told I'm was next every time I asked about it. It wasn't till I got upset did they do or say anything. My hubby took pics. I felt like I was at a county Hospital
My 3yo son and I have been here for five days with a serious skin condition on him. He was in so much pain and we had no idea what was going on. Everyone here has been so kind and helpful and saw to our every need and want. I'm so thankful to all the staff that did everything they could to keep my baby comfortable and find out what was going on. Can't say enough good things about the staff here.
My Dad is there. The staff there have been nothing less than wonderful taking care of my dad. Thank you ever so much Tampa General!
My experience with TGH was when my son was brought into the ER with an apparent broken leg. I met him there in the ER and they were working on getting his x-rays and his pain had already was being managed, that staff that night was great they took very good care of him and I knew that he was in good hands until surgery the next morning. Thanks TGH
