I have amazing teams of. doctors. And all of my nurses have been so kind. They are so on time with pain meds ive never had a hospital wake me so that the pain doesn't start.pick line in my heart means no poking. For labs .I have a minimum of four weeks here and my room over looks bayshore and im minutes from Hyde. Park where I think I can go as long as im back for IV antibiotics every 3 hours. Not bad when you look for positive things Tampa general. Has my vote!!!
Staff was so warm and inviting. Great experience, I was lost and so many stopped to assist me
I was on 4K pre/post op for minor surgery. My stay was wonderful. The girls who registered me were polite and nice. She then gave us directions to the Preop waiting area where we meet a lovely lady who walked us to my bed. My Preop nurse Karen was great! We talked and she made me feel at ease. Anesthesia (I think Emilly and Abby, CRNA's) were nice as well. I was so happy that it only took them 2 times to get my iv. Normally it takes 3 or 4 times. Tampa general treated me like garbage because I didn't have traditional insurance I am a veteran and use the VA for medical care. I came in as a trauma alert with serious injuries to my face a broken arm and deep road rash on arms and legs after a motorcycle accident. The doctor's and nurses treated me like garbage. Even the MRI tech treated me terrible. I was in serious pain and could barely move the guy wouldn't even help me out of the mobile bed onto the MRI table. Tampa General Hospital es el peor hospital que e visitado en mi vida, ayer llegue a las 9pm y a las 12am todavia no me habian llamado y me tuve que ir. Hoy fui a Florida Hospital en Carrollwood y entrando por la puerta rapido me enpesaron a tomar los signos vitales, gracias a Dios ya me tienen en tratamiento y en mi cuarto privado, y con enfermeras chequiandome a cada rato. Gracias a Dios!
I came in for an iv infusion. The staff and the decor go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. If you have to go to a hospital, this one is excellent.
Fabulous care during a recent 5-day stay! Thanks so much to the fabulous nurses, techs, doctors, students, and fellows who were absolutely fabulous.
