I went in with a knee injury, they gave me an iv antibiotic that was noted in my records I was allergic to, and I have burns all over my body, still, six weeks later. The ones on my face got infected and my face is now horribly disfigured. This is six weeks later and still the infection in my face is raging on. Despite the 3 weeks I've been in the hospital on antibiotics. I'm fighting off infection and have permanent scars for something that never should have happened.
They ain't help me wit shit but shove a iv in my arm and sent me home with a fever I've had for a month guess I'll try and fix myself .... They did great in 1986 when I was born there
It's the best Hospital around. The staff really wants to help and get you well. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. Other area hospitals could learn a lot from them.

The staff at Tampa General Hospital was outstanding.I was there about 2 1/2 hours for my procedure which started at 1000-1230. The nurses were spot on for everything,from the time I got there to my leaving the hospital.They explained the procedure in the OR and what they were going to do.I woke up 35 minutes later with my wife and recovered and was out the door in 20 minutes.
Professionals all the way. They took excellent care of me.

I brought my husband and we waited 4 hours they amuse you by giving you a warm blanket and a staff person walking around making jokes... not very funny when you are sick!! Then they call my husband back and put him in the hallway with a makeshift sign and literally a bell hanging on y string I took pictures. They did our registration out there the Dr spoke to him. So much for Hippo and they debreeded the wound in the hall and left him there for six hours before moving him to an observation area. Appalling!!!!! He is still in... read more
We always try to make to TGH instead of going to local hospitals - great facility, great doctors, great staff. At least an hour drive. Keep up the good work.
