RecommendedI never would have known I would be treated so great at any hospital. I came in because I banged My finger nail really bad while I was asleep ( twisting and turning in my sleep) that they needed to remove my nail..... From the lady at the check in desk to the nurse and above all the doctor mr. Andrew Franklin smith and the APRN ms. we have been waiting for 4 hr.to see if the baby is ok....wow way to long.i just don't understand.... help
ICU was great. Too notch nurses and nice facilities. However the treatment in the test of the the hospital is terrible. The staff is disorganized and lacks basic communication skills. Also, virtually NO ONE takes responsibility for the failures and instead they blame the patient. The discharge process was at least 6 hours long and we were still unable to get needed supplies/meds. Communication occurred only when I literally hunted down some one to ask.
they took care of a friend who almost lost his leg......they were amazing... and another friends child... amazing! friendly staff.
Great care from nursing on all levels just extremely disappointing to see lack of communication and my rights and requests being violated and ignored despite my surgeons orders. I’m terrified to even return. I recently spent nearly 8 days there in two weeks. The toughest time for a mother to be away from their child going through cancer and they didn’t appropriately communicate causing me to miss many difficult to reschedule appts and my sons care.
went in on a Saturday for an infected hurt toe the doctor cut open the hematoma on it in a dirty hallway cus there are no beds, got a shot of lidocaine,asked him 3 times for antibiotics. and he said no to come back in a few days if it's still red and hot to the touch,at this point my toe was purple. he told me to let it dry out and keep it clean. had to return to the ER Wednesday because I couldn't walk and the infection was worse. another doctor saw me and told me I needed antibiotics immediately and to keep soaking it seve... read more
