Had the worst care there than any hospital ever

Had an awesome experience at TGH - very good hospital with great staff and the best surgeons!
My husband died at TGH due to a stupid oversight. The I.C.U. units are fantastic but the care of patients in regular rooms leaves a lot to be desired.
Giving them a 1 star because they have a Starbucks. Horrible experience with TGH. Being an organ donor, my daughter was told that she would be well taken care of because she was electing to be there and saving a life. The nursing staff was rude and curt. And, after overdosing her on pain meds, I took her care in to my own hands and had to watch their every move. You know they screwed up when the doctor and the nurse involved both apologized. I've been coming to the heart and lung transplant clinic for the last year. Everyone here is wonderful from the parking attendant to the doctors. I would highly recommend Tampa General to anyone.
I have been in ER before, but this morning I had an accident that took me to the TBGH Emergency Room. Who likes going to ER anyway - I DO NOT, but my experience with TBGH ER was way different: No 1. being one of the CLEANest No 2. having most FRIENDliest staff No 3 being MOST CARING and No 4 they were FAST. Love everybody here.. They saved my life..
My husband got THE best care here!! He had a liver transplant March 2013 and they saved his life! The nursing staff is top notch, never seen better. The transplant department - Doctors, Coordinators - what Sweethearts!
