I have had it with Children’s Medical Center in Dallas! Been here since 11 am yesterday (July 1, 2019) and have been told my child has an infection in a lymph node, her submandibular gland, or it’s an abscess. She has undergone 3 ultrasounds 2 of which were done here but they have yet to find out what it is. Just found out her insurance is no longer in network since yesterday, but yet was asked several times (in er) what insurance she had and was never told anything about this until now, after we’ve been admitted. Horrible hospital. Staff is incompetent and rude. Incapable of dealing appropriately with any mental health issues involving minors. Don’t waste your time with them and make the short jump to Parkland. Staff at Parkland are caring and understanding, taking the time to focus on the issues at hand. They had the resources available for quality care. Had problems with Children’s in the past with a minor Type 1 diabetic patient. Cancelled their appt. twice and took three months to reschedule from the initial two months scheduling... read more
