For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

This hospital saved my sons life. born with a major heart defect he had a 25% chance of survival. If it wasn't for the surgeon and his wonderful nursing staff, my son would not be here. Thank you to this wonderful place and the love & care you give each of your patients!!!!
The staff at this hospital are phenomenal! 100% kid oriented, without being cheesy. The attitudes, methods & procedures are appropriate and geared to treat our kids. When explaining things to the patients, the staff is age appropriate and never condescending. Our 13 year old, Kason, received the absolute best care from his doctors & nurses after his accident. There are great Drs and nurses!!! They have been heaven sent for our great grandson Rhylon. He has a kidney disorder. Already had 1 dead kidney removed. He’s about 3 years old and with the help of a feeding tube has finally gained enough weight to be on the transplant list.

Thank you CMC Dallas for the compassionate and professional care experience we received while in your care. My grandson had broken his leg at the growth plate below the knee. We had taken him to a local East Texas hospital ER and they did not want to touch the repair and sent us off with a leg immobilizer and a referral to a Ft. Worth pediatric Orthopedist.
