For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

I have now been to this hospital with all 3 of my children. Amazing place... Compassionate staff❤️
I went most recently last night after my daughter fell at cheer practice and what we thought had dislocated her shoulder. We were promptly taken back for X-rays and within 15 minutes the results and they were putting it in a cast. They were very efficient in taking care of her pain and the nurse she had was awesome. We have been a few times once for an asthma flare and once when my son got burned and though it was a few years ago I don't remember anything but them being courteous and taking wonderful care for children!

My son when to Children's with a temperature of 103. They gave him Morton and treated his asthma because he said his at home treatments weren't working. I knew when the home treatments weren't working that something was wrong and in the past he had pneumonia. However, Children's sent him home and back to school without finding out why he had a fever. The next day his fever came back so I took him to Baylor Scott and White in Sunnyvale and he had the Flu.
Absolutely horrible. It might as well be a doctor's office. Between the gazillion people bringing kids that should be seeing a pediatrician (not going to ER) and the staff that apparently don't know the difference - I'll stick to Plano!
I love this hospital my baby girl was her for 2 week and the nurses treated her so well and they cared about her and they were all so nice to me as well I love this hospital so much to me it is the best
