For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

We ended up going on one of the busiest nights ever packed house standing room only . Every person we came in contact with over our 11 hours there was extremely polite professional understanding and apologetic for the amount of time that we had to wait. I appreciate the time that was giving to us to answer our questions concerns to make sure we had no it's for school and work and to make sure we know who to contact if anything else came up and we needed to reach them. After waiting 7 hrs for a room not to get a room to sit in another waiting room for another 7 hrs to get a diagnoses is crazy . He couldn't get a comfortable bed to sleep while waiting or even hear the TV. Plus our privacy was compromised everyone could hear what each child had or has. Its crazy the way the take people back people that came after us got seen and nice comfortable room for there child before us . never again. The doctor was nice everyone else was ok. They were super busy but very good with each patient and their families we had about a 5 HR wait from start to finish after being quoted a 10 HR wait. They have always been there for my kids (now teenagers) in our time of need. Many improvements have been made over the last 18 years!
It's a great hospital I would recommend it they gave my son great service thanks children's
Absolutely love the staff! They were very caring and helpful!
I think they need not just, look at the child and determine but thoroughly check the child.and I've been on hold for 40 minutes and nobody has came back to the fone yet! The Abrams Rd location is lousy
