Unfortunately in the past our daughter had the opportunity to be treated there. LOVE THIS HOSPITAL. The staff is second to none.
We brought our 9-year-old boy to the ER Tuesday afternoon with a broken jaw and what we encountered is bordering on ridiculous. I understand that you receive patients in order of emergency and I understand that you probably cannot give us an exact time my son will see a doctor but we waited for 6 hours in a crowded waiting area with hundreds of sick people. The people at the hospital are great! But the customer service and billing after the fact is horrible! My son is type 1 diabetic. We attended an educational class for diabetes and my insurance was billed over $1,000. If I had not met my deductible on my insurance than I would have had to pay $670. I called and was told some one from administration would call me about the pricing, but 5 business days later I have not heard from anyone. Children's nickels and dimes you to death!
