I’m completely appalled at the experience we had with the speech language pathologist who performed the swallow study on my toddler. We were given an arrival time of 45 minutes prior to the appointment, then sat for 45 minutes waiting to be seen. Speech pathologist gave no instructions which made for a terrible experience for all involved.

Rishon and I are waiting to be seen for his ultrasound appointment. It was for 10:00 it’s now almost 10:30, then he has another ultrasound set for 11:00 for another area on the body. I, as a parent, have other things to do and follow a strict daily schedule. This pushes my time and is unacceptable. The ultrasound department needs to come up with a solution to accommodate the patients with actual scheduled appointments be seen in a decent amount of time. This promotes distrust and skepticism. When I called Radiology, I was told I would be able to see my child going into the machine. When I got there, after feeding my baby, I was rushed by the Asian nurse (I think she was a nurse). She seemed in a hurry and told me I could not come back with my child. When I tried asking questions because what I was told over the phone, my questions were brushed off as she was taking my baby to the back.
