Dr Stacy Sheehan was my daughter Makayla's(Benoit)pediatrican from birth in 1996 until we moved out of New England in 2004. Dr Sheehan was at the birth of my daughter as I was high risk. Dr Sheehan was so caring, professional and kind that I transferred the care of my other 2 children to her as well. My daughter Makayla who was diagnosed with T1D in 2007 is now having a baby girl of her own and if we were local Makayla who remembers Dr Sheehan has stated she would have Dr Sheehan as daughters pediatrician. I can't praise Dr ... read more
Where do I begin??? I was a first time mother to a 10 week premature baby boy. We hadnât even picked out names for our baby yet, never mind a pediatrician. Long story short, we randomly picked a doctor for our son and the experience was horrible. For 6 months we dealt with a newborn that was struggling with his feedings. He was on special formula but still seemed to struggle while taking his bottle. As I mentioned, I was a first time mother and at the time had no idea it was simply acid reflux, a very treatable issue! Coun... read more
I called today to speak with a Nurse and Robin was the one to take my call. I shared my concerns with her about my son and possible flu symptoms. Her response to me was âWell mom, is he high risk because we are only giving Tamiflu to high risk patients due to the shortage. You can come in and we can test him but we are only treating high risk patients. You can treat fever at home when needed to keep him comfortable.â I was shocked to hear this . This isnât the first time Iâve dealt with Robin over the phone with o... read more
I've always had nice experiences with you but dealing with Kristen over the phone has not been so pleasant. Her attitude and tone with me were rude. I was just trying to make an appointment for my child and her comments and tone were just not professional. While on hold I was hung up on. I called her back and with the attitude she said "I didn't hang up, we were disconnected and I was trying to call you back but you called in". I seriously don't need to be spoken to so rudely...I'm not sure if she even realizes she com... read more
I would like to start with both of my young children have been sick on and off sick for the last 3 months. I have been bringing them to childrenâs for appointments and to the sick call hours. The appointment seem to be the best option. There is zero communication between the sick call and the main office appointments. Every time I have to take my children to the sick call nothing is done and everything is fine but I bring them to an appointment and they are in need of antibiotics or worse Iâm sent to Bostonâs childrenâ... read more
My son has been a patient for many years and goes to the Newburyport office. All staff are always so helpful. This is the BEST practice!!!!!
Weekend flu clinics are full, can't help me was the answer on the phone today. Student athlete with a full weekday schedule. So much for the importance of flu shots. My insurance doesn't cover CVS inoculations. Not helpful...

I brought my 15 yr old. In for her physical. We told the nurse practitioner that she was due for her period and was bloated. She spent an awful lot of time on my daughters bmi. Shes maybe 10 lbs overweight. And then also told her what to use to clear up her very mild acne which was also hormone driven. My daughter who had just had her braces off hours earlier and was on an emotional high, left there feeling the dr felt her fat and ugly. I'm still trying to put it all in perspective with her. I don't think a lack of sensitivi... read more
