Beautiful office with very friendly doctor and staff I took my daughter to her first dental appointment and was nervous about how it would go being that she was only 1 year old. Dr. LaLande did a great job making her feel comfortable. Not much was done since she was so young, but the doctor looked at her teeth and put fluoride on them. I felt very comfortable there and didn't feel like it was a "dental mill." Long wait, no bedside manner, extra charges on bill, rude front desk staff I took my toddlers there for a check up, & after waiting nearly 2 hrs., the dentist came in and did a cursory exam without actually cleaning my kids' teeth. (I thought it goes w/out saying that check-ups include cleanings but maybe not) She wasn't rude or anything but defnitely had no special way with kids. parent My experience with Children's Dental Care and Dr. Lalande specifically has been excellent. The office staff is helpful and efficient. Dr. Lalande has been treating my two children for a little over a year now, and recently had to perform a surgical procedure for my son under general anesthesia. It was a great success and I trust her completely. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking wonderful dental care for their child.
There are other choices. Going here you would think they were the only children's dentist in town. The staff and doctor were rude from start to finish. I waited almost 2 hours to be taken back. Kids were being given drugs and then allowed to run around in the waiting room. There was poop smeared on the wall in the bathroom. Gangs had scratched their carvings inside and out. The beautiful exterior is a facade of deception. My child can never go back there.
