This place is amazing! – This place is amazing. Born and raised in Washington, IL (just east of Peoria) and now in Chicago - this is my favorite breakfast place of all time. The family and I stop in every time we are in town. Tell Eddie (the owner) hello for me - great guy!
Family Friendly Diner It's a family friendly dining experience with evening specials, a nice variety of salads and breakfast all day. It has great coffee and good company.
A family favorite Childer's is one of our favorite homestyle family restaurants. The menu is traditional, but has a few extras like braized cabbage and Southwestern beef salad. The Mangiamo chicken salad is a personal favorite of mine. Prices are less than $10 for most entrees. We've always had friendly and efficient service. The atmosphere is open and inviting.
