Dr. Oster is the best ever, and so is his cheerful, intuitive assistant Astra. Quiet, fast and very gentle, both of them. The office staff is also great, helping me figure out insurance and treatment plans. A very caring place!
I came to Chico Dental Arts in November for my routine check-up & cleaning, and Robin did a great job! She was real sweet, and so was Dr. Kyle, who came in to meet me and perform my check-up. My teeth are a little sensitive, and Robin put some numbing agent on my gums and teeth, and the cleaning went well. I was very comfortable and at ease with her and what she did. The work I had done was complicated and time consuming, however, Dr. Oster and Astrid (sp?) were great about asking how I was doing and providing lots of support. Fortunately, everything healed well and I had less pain afterward than I thought I would have.

Excellent service with a smile. Chico Dental Arts squeezed me in for a last minute appointment and took great care of me from the moment I walked into the door until I left with reinforced pearly whites!
Dr. Oster is some kind of artist. He is swift and skilled. And his assistant, whose name I can't remember! Is so gentle and non-intrusive. A superb team, looking forward to your next root canal? These guys are so skilled you can sleep through it.

If you want to pay extra to have your teeth worked on the The Tiki Lounge or some other themed room, CDA is not for you. Come here if you want excellent dental care in a professional environment, performed by a caring staff.
if a root canal can be 'pleasant', this one was. Dr. Oster and his assistant worked swiftly, smoothly, gently. I actually dozed off, i believe!
