Chicano’s will never microwave or precook your food! All of our entrees are made to order and we believe that our authentic Mexican food is the best in town. all Mexican food is hot. All of our dishes are meticulously prepared with an authentic, yet mild flavor. For those who like it hot, we put a disk of hot sauce on the table.

We frequent this restaurant quite often for our Mexican food. It is the best in town. The owners always have time to talk. Their beef steak tostado is the best. So glad we decided to try them. A hardy 5 stars and two thumbs up.
Our second time. As before excellent food drinks waitress was super. The only reason I did not give we ordered chicken and got beef. Not a bad thing will still go back
I was not impressed wth the food or service. They did not want to accommodate me when th what I wanted for lunch and they did have it in the menu. I will not be going back to this place.

That is correct we can not substitute fries that would have been an up charge ! but we do substitite a salad that i hope he offered ?

We moved here a couple of years ago and have never tried here. Yesterday we figured let's give it a shot it can't be as bad as Plaza Mexico. Well it was great service, friendly and funny waiter and food was very good. We will definitely be going back �
We were heading back to Miami from Tampa and stopped by coincidence in Venice. Drove around looking for a place to eat and came to Chicanos! Excellent food. Our waiter was super attentive. Loved it!!
Best Mexican restaurant in the area in my opinion. I live in Englewood and drive to Venice for Chicano's! The owner is very personable and always greets customers if he's there. Food is always hot & fresh with big portions. I won't go anywhere else for Mexican cuisine!
Went there for the first time. Everything was excellent! This will NOT be the last time we come here. Very well done.
Been here several times good food and service always good. A big thank you to our waiter Carlos for handling our large table, we had a great time!
