I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Chicago. This is one of the best I've experienced in years. Friendly, clean, very cool vibe about the whole place. Excellent food and drink. The location is stellar. The rooftop deck overlooks the Bean to the East. We walked Michigan Ave, walked to the Field Museum, the Goodman Theater, and on and on. Valet Parking was a breeze. Decor of the actual hotel rooms is unlike any I've seen before (in a very good way). The whole family loved it. Highly recommend.

So far the best 'staycation' experience ever: the place breathes history, rooms are clean with extremely comfortable beds and food & drinks at the bars & restaurants are great. As a tourguide in Chicago I recommend this place to every single visitor!

We've spent several years visiting the drawing room and cindy's for drinks, after shows and city visits. We've finally decided to stay here on an anniversary evening. The room was fantastic, it's smaller in size, but definitely makes up for it in character! The price for the location and amenities is definitely worth it.
