I have tried the cafe twice.. Both times the food was nicely prepared plus delicious. My only criticism ...a little salty. Restaurant was classy . The hostess was somewhat slow. Could be due only 1..hostess . But ,she was attentive. Good eats Chic Cafe!!
WORST SERVICE EVER,, IT NEEDS TO CHANGE IF THEY WANT TO KEEP CUSTOMERS,,
The first time I went, it was nice and the food was pretty good. I went today (11/17/15), and it wasn't good! I ordered fried perch and French fries, which come with a side, so I got dressing. The fries we cold and not cooked all the way, the fish was hard on the outside and not fully cooked on the inside (cooked too fast), and the cornbread Patty on my plate was cold also. My daughters father had the gumbo which he said had one piece of chicken, one piece of sausage, and a ton of okra. Very bad experience today!
Had Chic Cafe cater my event this weekend and the food was amazing! Their gumbo is the bomb!
We stopped in for Sunday brunch and the food was absolutely amazing. Our meals came out after a brief wait, the customer service team was very friendly, and the cafe was clean and organized. We'll definitely be back!! Thank you!!!!!
Going to the Chic Cafe, It was like going home to my mothers kitchen., from the red beans and rice, greens, fried chicken, to the cornbread dressing. Oh I can't leave out the Peach Cobbler. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. I'm glad that the cafe is open later then 3:00 pm. Thank You Chick!!!!
Food was okay but service was horrible. This was my first and last time patronizing this place. Also, no new plate when you order the all you can eat fish fry. They bring out more fish to put on a dirty plate. Wait staff was discombobulated. I ordered three kinds of fish and waitress gave me one kind I didn't order so I can have fish. She has no idea if I was allergic to the one I didn't order she gave me. At one point she didn't know what kind of fish she gave me. Very poor service. Food was cold and meal was brought out late and in portions despite being the only two ppl there. The waitstaff was unprofessional, rude, and lacked hospitality. Never again.
