None of the departments seem to communicate with each other so nobody knows what’s going on. I went to the ER for an infected animal bite and needed an antibiotic and a rabies shot. That ER visit took 5 HOURS. Then I had to get a follow up series of rabies shots and registration didn’t know anything about it. Each time I went for the follow up shot, it took over an hour... for a rabies shot... I’m am very unimpressed with my experiences with this hospital. RecommendedMy wife and I had our child 6 weeks early, and the nurses on the entire 200 level, especially the NICU, have been nothing but amazing. We have been so well taken care of, and they gave my daughter the best overall care that anyone could ask for. The current protocol for Corona virus testing at St. Francis is such that you could have all of the symptoms but if you are not on a respirator you will not be tested. No wonder Grand Island has not had any test positive for Covid 19. Hastings and Kearney hospitals can test on suspicion but not St. Francis. GENIUS!!
I had hip surgery at & C h i Health Saint Francis. My experience was good! nursing staff was very kind and compassionate.
