We've been patients here for years. We had to give up our beloved Dr. Johnson because we couldn't afford to pay for his newest offering and now we can no longer get an appointment as needed. 3 weeks or more out for an established patient to be seen for 1 immunization. School starts in 17 days so I definitely pushed it until the end of summer and that's on me but we historically always got in same week. We have to get a new doc at a new facility for 1 shot. PSA: you can get a mammogram without doctors orders, if you are due for one. I was told (a few hours before my appointment time), that I needed doctors orders (requiring me to make an appointment with a primary care physician first, and paying for that just to get the OK for a mammo). When talking to the clinic, they told me I would have to reschedule my appointment until after I saw a doctor. I pushed back. Been going to chi for a little over a year now. We will be switching doctors. The front staff is great the ladies in the pharmacy are amazing! The doctors aren't that great. They can hardly see their old patients, taking on new patients making it to where old patients have to schedule out months to be seen. This is not how a doctors office should be ran.
My experience with CHI Yankee Hill is always positive. Emily Andrews is always caring and compassionate. The staff are wonderful. I had all of my tests and vaccines done in one visit. I highly recommend everyone there. Emily Andrews is wonderful.....do not let her go..... Sandy Behrens.
