I'm from out of town and this was my first visit here. I love love love the atmosphere. The staff, and owner are absolutely amazing. The food was wonderful. The desert was incredible. Oh and we can forget the drinks, Great cocktails! I will be back.

Chez Zee is always relaxed and unique in its feel. Uniquely Austin but also a bit magical. They also take reservations. Check them out.
Rude hostess and super slow service. They sat us outside and we seemed like an afterthought. Took 20 minutes to set drinks. Food came out relatively quickly and was good. After 30 minutes our check came out and I had to flag someone down to take our payment. Overall, big disappointment.

my experience was disappointing from the moment I walked in. the hostess was short and rude. the waitress (after telling the server the food was incorrect, politely) walked back with the same food, shouted, "this is yours." She then slammed the two plates on the table and walked away. She told us that since it was a large party, the 20% gratuity was already in our bills. the 20% was not included and was handwritten into the receipts. I was beyond disappointed and will not be returning or suggesting it to anyone.
excellent service and good food with plenty of variety
Great place! Loved the appetizer chicken beignets ! Also I enjoyed the cool decorations and the orange cake desert !
