Chez Pierre is one of Tallahassee’s oldest restaurants and has become a local favorite. Chez Pierre first opened its doors in October of 1976 in downtown Tallahassee as a fine-dining restaurant. Eric Favier became the owner of Chez Pierre in 1991 and moved the location to Midtown in 1996. Expensive, bland food and pretension. Went there one time and the service was glacial. Absurdly expensive for a restaurant that would be considered mediocre in any decent sized city. This is the only French restaurant in town, so it gets a pass every time. People go back over and over to be robbed and dont realize it, (Jamais vu). The owners likely decided it was safe to cook in a city that had never tasted French cuisine and would not know the difference.
The staff was AWESOME (but then again our overall ticket was between \$900-\$1000 (I cant remember the exact price). The food was VERY delicious and the setting was BEAUTIFUL! (we ate outside on the deck).All in all Id give Chez Pierre 5 stars. =)but PLEASE dont go here if you know you cant afford it..Mcdonalds is also nice and afforable! lol..a very great place to take a date to impress them though nonetheless ;)
This used to be by far the best in town, but has gone downhill in the last 5-7 years. Such a shame. Today is has decent upscale French cuisine, but nothing particularly special.

As good as it gets. Expensive, but worth the price.
