Being self-insured, I've been compairing surgery clinics for cataract surgery. the young lady who I spoke to at Cheyenne Eye Clinic and Surgery Center quoted me 8 to 10 thousand dollars over the phone for 1 eye cataract surgery. The cost was three to five times higher than anywhere else I checked.
I make a payment on my bill monthly and yet the statement I receive in the mail today states “your account is seriously past due. To avoid collection proceedings, please contact us today!” I pay minimum $100.00 a month. And yes, all payments have cleared the bank. What more do you want? This office has seriously gone down hill in the last two years. We are seriously considering going South for our eye appointments.

I called to make an appointment this morning, because I have an eye that is swelling up. The on call doctor actually had front desk staff call me back and suggest I "go to Walmart." I explained that I bought glasses from Walmart, but I do not intend to go to Walmart for eye care. They didn't care and suggested I go to an urgent care clinic. And I'm an established patient! My first visit was very disappointing. Support staff is very good, Dr Nottage was a joke. I had some very specific concerns about my vision, and the changes I'm experiencing. Dr. Nottage was extremely uninterested, and did not address any of my concerns. Her prescription put my safety in jeopardy, as she did not care to understand my specific problems, and the prescription she wrote would cause severe disorientation. These people are after insurance money...period.
I cannot say enough how professional and caring this clinic is. They were respectful, and there every step of the way during cataract surgery, and even went out of their way to make sure we had the right eye drops at a cheaper expense for us. I would recommend them to anyone. Go here...they care!
