Stopped here on there way to pick up our car at Travis AFB. Had not seen this restaurant in years. Same great food I remember. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly.
Went for the nostalgia, and the corn tamalitos, left with regret. We were seated right away, got our menus and water, and had our order taken relatively quickly. Unfortunately, we basically ceased to exist after that. It was fairly empty, but we only saw our server one other time in the almost 45 minutes that we were waiting for our two small meals. When the food finally did come it, it wasn’t great. The beans had an odd taste to them, the rice was dry, and the poor corn tamalitos were awful.
Food was great . Service was not so great we had to ask other server for our drinks . I would have spent more on drinks but we did not get server to come by and ask or if we needed anything else.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Cantina Vibe & Happy Hour, But Food Portions Fell a Bit Short Stopped by Chevy's here and had a solid experience, though there's a little room for improvement on the plate.
