I came to Chestnut Hill Hospital Family Practice because it's virtually impossible to build a medicial relationship with most doctors. If you take an active role in your medical treatments, this is the place for you! I maintain my own glucose, blood pressure and weight data. I always take an active role,in my medical treatments. Dr. Patrick Kowalski and Dr. Carolyn Sciblo are excellent doctors and part of the Family Practice Care Team.
I have been a patient here for over 30 years. I have been with Chestnut Hill Family practice through all of the changes. I have seen a lot of good workers come and go. Yes it is hard to get through on the phone, but that was a Tower Health change and now a Temple Health issue. They made you start calling the call center. It is hard to get through to the office not because they are lazy, because there are not enough people in the office to handle the patient load. That is Temple Health's fault. Me and my family been going here for about 2 years and the past year to 6 months have been awful. I haven't had time to find a new PCP but I will be making time now. No one ever answers the phone, you wait over 40 mins and then when someone does you get hung up on (has happened multiple times now). Filling a basic prescription I have been taking over 15 years is too complicated. I didn't even get an appt to be seen and don't want to the Receptionist was very very rude and unprofessional! If you don't like people you don't need to work publicly! PERIOD
