Chestnut Hill Hospital, won’t test a patient for Covid-19 unless they are being admitted in the hospital and put on a ventilator, or maybe they won’t test black people. I just read my discharge papers and noticed they changed the reason(s) I came to the hospital: Chest pain, trouble breathing, headache, sore throat, pain in my extremities, and a nasty cough. Worst experience at a hospital. Upon arrival my blood pressure was elevated in which after putting me in my room, it was never checked again. Even before discharging me. Dr. Eisenbrock gave no consideration to my concerns and gave me a "G.I Cocktail" which made my body start shaking, my eyes started tearing, and it made me feel like I had to vomit(which I cant do, due to a previous surgery). So I had surgery at Chestnut hill hospital and I actually love the doctor Khanna, who performed the surgery. My out of pocket expense was 842.00. The billing dept allowed me to set up a payment plan of 100.00 per month until the bill was satisfied. I set up the payment plan with a payment of 142.00 in February of 2019. Today is April 23, 2019 and I have a balance due of 300.00 and yet I am receiving past due notices and have received 2 "courtesy " automated calls from them questioning if I am confused about anything...re... read more

I think this needs to be reported. I advocated for a person who was diagnosed with walking pneumonia among other illnesses, to remain hospitalized after 1 day of being admitted to chestnut hill Hosp. A Dr. Jonathan Blizzard refused and sent this 59 yr old person home in a cab. He would not even allow me to make arrangements to have this person picked up. This took place on 10/17/18. Worst care EVER!! My 91 year old mother was brought in er, shortness of breath, belly pain. 10am. I get there at 6pm, she is lying in her own urine soaked excriment!!! She had been left this way for hours!!! I had get a doctor to come in and see it. Then they cleaned her up. We waited until after10 pm to get her moved upstairs . Absolutely disgraceful ! The er staff , basically avoids eye contact with family members, so they don't have to deal with you. I will be filing a formal complaint. I got pictures
