I called my doctor and spoke to the nurse about my complaints. She suggested that I go to urgent care. It's a thirty minute- twelve mile drive to the clinic. I got there at six pm and I was told that they could not see me because they already had too many patients. They close at 8pm. On their website, they say that "you don't have to call anymore", and they pro state that they're open till eight pm. I attempted to call the patient advocate the next day 3 times. Another time this hospital has let me down. First they diagnosed me with carpal tunnel (quick onset) in both hands, lock me in braces, send me home with opiates. Turns out I have a pinched nerve in my neck, or something along those lines now the spine clinic refused my referral from the ER in Lebanon, decided I need PT first. I have had several overnight stays having joints replaced and can't think of a single problem. The staff, the meals, the attentiveness of everyone involved with my care.... It was very easy to recuperate in that environment. I actually wish there was a way to thank everyone for the wonderful care that I received.
