RecommendedWent to the new West Knox location last Thursday night for a big group dinner (about 25 people). Had not been to this restaurant before, either location. We had the smoked trout appetizer, I had soft shell crab fried for entree and wife had the ahi tuna salad. All the food was very good. I usually don't like going to any restaurant with a big group because service suffers. I've got to say that the service was excellent. Everyone around me seemed to really enjoy their meal and a good time was had by all.

After the hubby and I shared the cold plate appetizer of oysters on the half shell, shrimp, blue crab meat and smoked salmon I wasn't even hungry for dinner.

We love the menu choices at Chesapeake's; best crab cakes you'll find ANYWHERE! Scallops that melt in your mouth! We eat at Chesapeake's every time we're in Knoxville; friendliest wait-staff of any we've ever encountered! Thank you Shannon!
