What a beautiful place. They have a new gorgeous hall with indoor and outdoor space. We had a wedding reception/ crab � feast there (leveraging the outdoor deck and inside space). The kids loved adventuring over the grounds and seeing the animals and kayaking.
Wonderful place for a walk, picnic or paddle on the bay in one of their kayaks! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, quiet even on a nice Sunday afternoon and it's free! Great place��
Had an amazing time with Severna Park Middle School 6th grade students. We built a buoy, did geocaching and caught critters in the Bay! Highly recommend it.
Just spent two wonderful days at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center with my high school students on our field research trip. The education programs are first rate; we highly recommend Build a Buoy and Catch a Bay Critter programs. Katey Nelson and her staff offer an engaging way for students to appreciate --and then want to conserve-- an estuarine ecosystem. Beautiful location with excellent facilities. We LOVE our annual Field Trip ! Katie and her volunteers are always such great educators and I find the adults have just as much fun as our young students.
