RecommendedI’ve personally not experienced the center quite yet, But I’m a true believer in all help n love kindness to environmental protection and education.
My 14 and 16 year olds have gone from young campers to CIT’s. They enjoy the outdoors and this beautiful part of the world. They have enjoyed learning about the environment as campers and now sharing it with campers. If you’re looking to make a difference in your child’s life by teaching them about the beautiful local environment while creating lasting fun memories then send them to CBEC! ❤️

A good place to hike and learn about the flora and fauna of the Chesapeake Bay. We had cold winds off the water the day we visited but it was only February 1. If you go, take food, water, etc. Be sure to visit the raptor rehabilitation center. We hope to get back when the temperatures warm and perhaps do some kayaking.
This place is a gem in the Bay. You can take a leisure walk, meditate, be with nature, listen to and observe beautiful birds, ducks, water fowl, and just enjoy. Stop by on your way to or back from the beach. You would be amazed.
Perfect place to have a gathering of 120-175. The scenery is breathtaking and the employees are helpful especially Vickie Paulas. It's tucked in a 50 acres or so as you wind into a long driveway as it opens up to its beauty of a location to have any event. We had my daughter's memorial there and it was perfect, peaceful, and enjoying the nature itself. Luisa C.
