RecommendedVery friendly folks. Nice slow easy float that’s not crowded at all. Good for small kiddos.
The owner was more than helpful with our large group. It was a fun easygoing float down the Bug River. We have done this float twice and are planning to go every summer. Thank you to Chrissy!

Cherokee Landing is one of the best places to float. It’s not full of stupid college kids, and the owners are funny and kind. I try to come here every year. It’s the most relaxing float you can take. It’s perfect for just having some fun on the river with a few friends.
We had a great time camped 2 nights and did the 2hr float trip. Great location friendly staff. We will definitely be going back
went camping and floating this passed weekend and had an amazing. this place isnt huge like bass or huzzah, we were the only ones camping because it was pretty chilly, which made it even better. the owners were very nice, and helped with anything we needed. theres river access directly next to campsites and if it would have been a little warmer we could have just stayed there all day. float was beautiful, nice calm river, beautiful scenery. all in all they get 5/5 stars. will definitely be going back!!!

Great place for a float. Very friendly owners/operators. Good time for a great price and a very friendly atmosphere. Swimming holes all along the float route to spend quality time with your friends and family.
