Competing with the big chains, this is a great local steakhouse offering great steaks at an affordable price. Cherokee Cattle Co. is set up like a large Western roadhouse with high ceilings and lots of Western decorations. This renders it a hearty steak house appeal. The steaks are large and expertly prepared. Baked potatoes and salads are available to round out your meal, as well as a few less beefy items. Great beer selections are available to complement your meat.

I tried a little of everything from the plates of the other people in my party and the grilled pork chops were good, my daughter's chicken fingers were good, but my prime rib was awful. It was cooked right, however something was off with the taste of the meat. Almost like it was about to go bad or the cow was sick. Anyway the sides were mediocre at best. Not what I would expect from a steakhouse.

This was our 1st time at the Cherokee Cattle Co. For years we have been visiting the Marietta Diner, Pasta Bella and Marietta Fish Co. This branch of the family 4 restaurants is a great compliment to the others. First, I have to say that our server Jessica was fantastic! It was my birthday dinner, and we all enjoyed it very much. The food was great and the service was even better!

As someone who has been here before, I expect quality from CCC. This visit was anything but. From the overly salty French Onion Soup to the under seasoned entrees and kid's meal coming out after the adult meals, I was highly disappointed in how all of these were handled by the staff. Add in our server not realizing that shrimp and lobster qualify as shellfish when being told that a member of our party had a severe shellfish allergy and saying that "we don't sell any of that here" and needing to be corrected. Celebrate my husbands 55th birthday. Had all the children and grands come out. We had a super great time at our favorite dining spot. Not only did my husband get his favorite pie he got his favorite cheese cake, someone pointed out that the strawberries counted up to 55 I wouldn't be surprise they surly know how to bake and decorate a cheese cake. #ThanksGeorgeCherokeeCattleCompany
